Triumph unveils the 2014 Speed Triple R
As the India launch date of the Triumph is nearing, their international range is for sure becoming a thing of lust for us. The English company took the covers off from the 2014 model of the Triumph Speed Triple R, which takes the level of excitement to a whole new level. The brutal looking king of three cylinders; Triumph Speed Triple gets many aesthetics upgrades based on the same chassis. The company has now made the Anti-lock brakes standard feature, which used to be an optional feature on earlier Speed Triple R.
The new version majorly gets a new paint job in form of Matt Crystal White with an all-new Phantom Black edition. The Speed Triple R gets its power supply from a 3-cylinder 12-valve, liquid cooled engine with displacement of 1050cc. The unique sound of three cylinders are synchronised with the power created equalling to 133 bhp at 9400 rpm and maximum torque of 111 nm which peaks at 7750 rpm. The 6-speed manual quick shift transmission sends the power to the rear wheels through the final chain drive. Speed Triple R has big looks, with front tyre measuring 17-inches and with profile of 120/70 and rear tyre being 190/55, the bike looks ready to kill. There is USD forks in the front and monoshock in the rear.
Triumph is setting-up their base in India and the company is expected to be in operation before next calendar year. Triumph is surely being anticipated to bring all their models to the Indian shores and the kind of products they have, Indian market will prove to be crucial of the company.
