Toyota launches Corolla Altis G-HV at price of Rs 13,76,000

Toyota Kirloskar Motors India added a new variant to their top of the line D Segment sedan, Corolla Altis. With comparatively less sightings of the Altis in traffic, Toyota decided to launch a cheaper automatic variant, which might prove to be helpful to the sales person who endorses the sedan for Toyota.

The new variant will be sold as 1.8 G-HV and will feature a seven-speed gearbox mated to the same 1.8 liter petrol engine, that other Corolla Altis are using. The car became the cheapest automatic car in market with the price tag of just Rs 13,76,000 which is more than a lakh cheaper than top-end automatic variant of the car.
This new variant is equipped with almost all the features of top end variant like touch screen DVD console with DVD connectivity, but few features like electric seats, leather upholstery, Xenons headlamps with washers, sun-roof, start/stop button and keyless entry.
With this price tag attached to the vehicle, Toyota will surely give a good competition to the other manufacturers who have their vehicles in this segment.
