Tata Motors to assemble JLR cars in India

Tata Motors is considering to assemble its Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) cars in India. The company is likely to start the assembling process in the second quarter of 2011. This step by the company is taken with the aim to reduce the costs.
Tata Motors also has plans to increase the the number of dealerships for JLR vehicles to 10 by March 2011. As of now it has 3 dealerships for JLR vehicles. These dealerships are situated in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
