Renault plans for petrol Pulse

It’s not even a month since Renault launched Micra based Pulse and the company is already overflowing with the bookings of the hatchback, reportedly the number of bookings already reached 600. It may be noted that Pulse was launched only with one engine option; 1.5DCi diesel engine lifted from Micra. Now it is speculated that Renault will soon bring the Pulse with Micra petrol engine. Renault and Nissan are present as a group in India and are expected exchange a lot of technology with each other, so we can expect the same 1.2 liter, 80bhp and 3 cylinder petrol engine of Micra in the car.
Currently, the retails price of Pulse is slightly premium than the Micra. If some news is to be believed then Renault is also working to develop a car to be priced under 4-lakhs.
