Polaris plans to shift focus to motorcycles.
Polaris is a popular name when it comes about snowmobiles and ATVs, in an attempt to expand in two-wheeler segment, Polaris added iconic Indian brand under its product portfolio in cruisers and touring bike category.
The Polaris factory already ships out multiple models of Victory bikes. New assemblies are being added to take the motorcycle business forward. Polaris situated at Medina will start manufacturing Indian bikes from 2013 and the experts say if the company can eat into the shares of Harley Davidson.
