Piaggio launches Vespa in India with sticker price of Rs. 66000

Vespa, the Italian brand of scooterettes, manufactured by Piaggio launched the much awaited automatic scooter, the Vespa LX125 in India today.
Vespa had showcased the ‘lifestyle scooter’ in Delhi at the Auto Expo earlier this year. The scooter had managed to pull a decent crowd thanks to its funky, retro styling and bright and loud colours.

Today, the manufacturer launched the scooter in Mumbai at a slightly premium price of Rs. 66,000(Ex-showroom). The automatic scooter will be available in 7 colours namely silver, yellow, orange, blue, black and white. The Vespa is the only scooter in India to use a single piece monocoque construction.
The funky retro styling and bright colours, along with the powerful motor(10.5bhp) would see the buying audience in the form of old and young alike.

Don’t you think that the scooter is too expensive. This one looks great and really have a classic look. But if this have come for 50K and on road for 55K then this would really be better…

What do you think about it?
