Mahindra launches CNG variant of pick-up truck


 

Mahindra & Mahindra, one of chief in the auto industry has released Maxx Maxi Truck, a CNG variant. Adding the price of the model is Rs 3.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) as it seems to build up its place in the division.

Vivek Nayer, the Senior Vice-President Marketing Automotive Sector outcomed that in the previous year there was 4% decrease in the domestic pick-up vehicles segment sales however M&M handled to develop by 11 per cent and the company controlled to grow the company market share from 77% to 85%.

Maxx Maxi Truck has been the development driver in the four wheeler small load category from its release from the year 2006 and the CNG variant will add extensively to it, he added

Moreover M&M is the foremost player in the pick-up vehicle market and its annual sales is about 56,000 units. Adding, with the 207Di the Tata Motors is also in the market as well.

For the sales forecast it is awfully hard to foresee but positively the company can outcome that market is much better currently compared to past six months, said Nayer.
