Honda Launches Upgraded Dio

Times are changing, so is the people’s preference with scooters. There was a time when number of bikes on road used to be scarce and now it is vice-versa. The Japanese automobile manufacturer has a good presence in scooter sector in India with three models, Activa, Dio and Aviator.
Today, the company announced the launch of upgraded Honda Dio scooter with added 10cc to the existing 102cc engine. The new 110cc engine belts out 8BHP@ 7,500rpm and 8.66Nm of maximum torque at 5500rpm. New Dio also has exclusive features like tubeless tyres and combi-brake feature (Exclusive feature of only Honda’s automatic scooters in India) ensures improved riding stability and braking efficiency. Other new introductions are increased leg space and wider seats. The new Dio also sports a 3D Emblem and sporty shaped integrated rear with elegant tail-lamp.

“The New Dio has 110cc powerful engine and offers 15% more fuel economy. It has tubeless tyres - First in category and Combi-Brakes - Exclusively in Honda scooters. The increased convenience and comfortable riding position of New Dio will appeal to both style conscious young males and females. As per ARAI, new DIO will return 66.7 kilometers to a liter. The new Dio will be available in market at around February end and carries a sticker price of Rs. 42,362(Ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
