Suzuki-Hayate

Suzuki Motorcycle India has recorded a growth of 22 percent in sales during the month of May 2012. According to the bike maker, high sales was fueled by the launch of the new mass segment bike Hayate which they had launched earlier. The bike along with the new Swish scooter have helped the bike maker to record growth during the past months. Suzuki India sold 36,746 units in May; a growth of 21.59 percent compared to same month the year before. Last year, Suzuki had sold 30,000 odd units during the month of May.

SMIPL Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Atul Gupta said: “We have received a good response from the market for all our products, including the newly launched Hayate, a mass segment motorcycle. The growing customer satisfaction has led to positive sentiment in the market and the company will continue to give the best to its customers”, he added.
