GM launches Chevrolet Cruze in India


General Motors has launched its luxury sedan Chevrolet Cruze in India. The car is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 12.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

“The Cruze has been receiving rave reviews since its recent debut in some other markets. We expect it to perform well against the established D-segment players,” said Karl Slym, President and Managing Director, General Motors India. “GM’s investments in manufacturing the Cruze in India is a demonstration of our sustained commitment to making Chevrolet the most admired and preferred vehicle brand in this country,” he added.

The Cruze is launched with 2.0 litre diesel engine in two different variants. The car is expected to provide a mileage of 18.3 kilometre per litre. GM is also likely to launch diesel version of Cruze soon.
