Garware-Hyosung today launched a limited edition version of the GT650N naked sports bike. Dubbed, the GT650N LE, the bike comes comes with a new cosmetic upgrade which includes a new black paint job with the frame finished in bright red. Apart from the new paint job, new graphics adorn the bike’s fuel tank. Even the wheels get intricate pinstripes which add to the visual appeal of the bike.

The GT650N is powered by a twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which produces 72 bhp and a peak torque of 60.9 Nm. The naked version of the GT650R was launched following the introduction of its sportier, fully-faired sibling. Garware-Hyosung also plans to introduce a 250 cc version of the GT series sports bike range. The new bike will take on the Honda CBR250 R and the Kawasaki Ninja 250R which have become ever more popular in recent times. Hyosung too wishes to make its mark in this segment of the market.

Meanwhile, the GT650 N LE will be available for an Rs 15,000 on the list price of the standard 650N model. All said, most biking enthusiasts in India will be waiting for the arrival of the GT250 R. Let’s see if the new entry-level sports bike helps change the fortunes of the Korean biker maker.
