Chevrolet launched the updated version of their only SUV in India, the Captiva. As a makeover, the all new Captiva got all new face with restyled grilles, new side mirrors and all new clear lens projection headlamps which adds to the aggressive factor of the vehicle. With the launch the company also introduced a new 2.2 Liter Automatic Transmission variant of the premium sport utility vehicle.

The exterior makeover includes bold wheel arches, a flowing line across the body, chrome highlights, new tail lights and new tyres for the 2.2 A/T version. The new 2.2 liter VCDi powerhouse which is mated with 6-speed automatic transmission generates huge 186.5bhp@3800 RPM and 424 Nm of torque @ 2000 RPM.
