Co-branded two-wheelers from M&M Kinetic

Mahindra&Mahindra the utility vehicle market leader in home , will kick off its two-wheeler business with upgrades of Kinetic’s currently available gearless scooters , Flyte and Nova and the modified versions will be available in showrooms by the end of the month under the name Mahindra Kinetic.

The 125-cc Flyte and 135-cc Nova are currently priced at around Rs 41 , 000 ex-showroom Delhi.
Mahindra has al-ready begun production of these co-branded two wheelers at its Pithampur plant and also the company M&M had stopped dispatching these gearless scooters a couple of months ago and dealers are awaiting the upgraded versions of Flyte and Nova.

M&M is serious about entering into the Indian two wheeler market both in entry level segment and performance , also the company has been in partnership talks with various global bike brands to source products for the top end of the market.Earlier M&M and Kinetic had formed Mahindra Kinetic in July 2008 , in which M&M held 80% stake rest is occupied by Kinetic Motors. M&M picked up the controlling stake in Kinetic for Rs 110 crore.

Beware!! Do not buy M&M Scooters in Kolkata as they have one Service Centre named K.H. Auto Centre at 12, Debendralal Khan Road, Kolkata-700025 manned by Mr. Rajat Ghosh with only one Service technician. The Service he provided for Kinetic Scooters is timeconsuming and Spares were also not available.

Do not buy M&M-Kinetic Scooter in Kolkata, because you will face problem while you need servicing. As they have a Service Centre named K. H. Auto Centre, 12, Debendralal Khan Road, Kolkata-700025, owned by Mr. Rajat Ghosh with only single manpower. I have faced lot of problem for servicing my Kinetic Honda Scooter due to shortage of Spares & Manpower. M&M should scrap him to improve the situation.
