Recently, the German automaker, Audi upgraded the A4, which is placed at the base of the Audi portfolio in India. Now, the company launched the high performance version of the A4 which is equipped with more powerful engine, larger brakes, sturdier suspension, larger wheels and is known as the S4.
Powered by a V6 3.0 TFSI, the gas guzzler devolves an impressive 333 horse power and can take the S4 from standstill to 100 km in just 5.0 seconds. The S4 carries a starting price tag of Rs. 45, 31,000 (Ex-showroom Maharashtra) and is now available at 19 showrooms across the nation.

S4 has hexagonal frame grille, Xenon headlamps, LED daytime running LED and aluminum finishes on the sills the V6 T badges all around the vehicle.
The seven-speed S tronic gearbox transfers all the power to the quattro drivetrain with the self-locking center differential and torque vectoring. The suspension of the vehicle lowers the vehicle by 20 millimeters and high-performance brake system provides good bite.
“We have been receiving requests for the new Audi S4 from car enthusiasts all over the country ever since it was first seen at the Audi Driving Experience where Indian motorsport ace and Audi S4 owner, Karun Chandhok drove it on the tracks of the Buddh International Circuit. We decided to utilize the power of our huge fan base to gauge customer sentiments for this. We started the ‘Vote for S4’ campaign on various social media platforms and the outcome was overwhelming as thousands of fans participated on a daily basis and unanimously voted to bring the S4 to India”, added Mr. Perschke.
