With the entry of triumph in the Indian market also enters one of the most iconic bikes of Triumph, the Speed Triple. The 1050cc naked will be launched in India in the last quarter of the year and will be priced at 8lakh rupees. Speed Triple will be placed against the likes of Honda CB1000R and Yamaha FZ1.

Honda CBR 500

Come next year, Honda will bring two of their very popular 500 cc bikes to India. The CBR 500R is a bike meant for the sporty rider who spends his weekend doing quarter mile runs on a deserted road with fellow bikers. From the outside, the 2013 Honda CBR 500R looks like one heck of a machine, but the under the body is a tamed beast with a rather conventional suspension setup.

Suzuki GSR250S
Sports Tourer, 248 cc

The GSR 250S is the half faired version of the naked Inazuma 250 and is powered by 248cc engine which churns out 24PS of power (at 8500 rpm) with the maximum torque of 22Nm. It is quite a heavy bike weighing at 186 kg.

Kawasaki ZX-6R

After the successful innings with the Ninja 250 and 650, Kawasaki is all set to launch its premium supersport bike the ZX-6R. The ZX-6R will be one of the most usable bikes in the country and will be a track tool to hoot. Expect the bike to be launched by the end of 2013 and in a price range of 7-9lakh.

Mahindra Mojo 300

Mahindra Mojo is the most awaited premium performance motorcycle from Mahindra. Mojo 300 will be powered by a 300cc, single-cylinder, DOHC four-valve, liquid-cooled engine which will produce peak power of 26Ps at 8500rpm and peak torque of 24Nm at 7000 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Mojo 300 will sport dual exhausts, a gas-charged rear mono shock as well as a Ducati electronic fuel injection system.

Yamaha FZ 250

Yamaha Motors India is developing a 250cc bike based on the Yamaha FZ series. They are all set to launch the bike which will boast the potential to give a hard time to the existing bikes in the segment.

First introduced to the Malaysian market in September 2013, Kawasaki took the innovative move of launching the Z250 Street Fighter in the market that sees a demand for the “Naked” models. The Z250 is a superb bike for beginners and ladies who are picking up motorcycle riding not only for leisure but for daily and work purposes as well. It is light and mild powered as compared to the Ninja 250. The build and design is easily mistaken for the Z800 which is a plus point for people starting off biking without having to feel “inferior” riding next to the bigger boys.

KTM RC 125

KTM RC 125 is based on its naked sibling Duke 125, it is meant for entry level ambitious racers. The bike shares many equipments with Duke 125. The bike is equipped with a 124.7cc, state-of-the-art, water-cooled DOHC engine which delivers 15 bhp and 12 Nm of torque. KTM RC 125 features a trellis frame, sharp-steering and Bosch electricals.

Triumphs remodelled Tiger Sport replaces the Tiger 1050, which was produced from 2007 to 2012. It is smoother, more powerful and comfier for rider and pillion alike. It has a lower, narrower seat and the old projector headlights have been replaced with conventional items, with a broader beam. It is fast, fun, practical, comes with ABS and has a commading, upright riding position. It is seen less of an adventure bike nowadays and more a funky-styled sports tourer.
