Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV is all set to begin its Indian chapter with its motorcycle lineup and one of their first bikes entering the Indian market will be the smaller engined Brutale 675. MV released all new Brutale 675 in 2011 and provided a middle weight affordable Brutale. Expect MV to be here by the end of 2013.

Powered by the same engine as the CBR 500R, the 2013 Honda CB 500F will be the bike that will share its underpinnings with its racing cousin. The CB 500F like any other CB bike will get a completely different steering geometry. The riding position has been tweaked for a more comfortable city riding. This has been achieved by raising the handle-bars.

Italian Motorcycle Company Aprilia is all set to enter into the Indian market with their complete product range. Shiver 750 is their middle weight naked will also be amongst the bikes to be launched. Shiver 750 is a brilliant street bike and performs very well in day to day commuting also. Expect it to be launched by the end of the last quarter of 2012.

Mahindra Mojo is the most awaited premium performance motorcycle from Mahindra. Mojo 300 will be powered by a 300cc, single-cylinder, DOHC four-valve, liquid-cooled engine which will produce peak power of 26Ps at 8500rpm and peak torque of 24Nm at 7000 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Mojo 300 will sport dual exhausts, a gas-charged rear mono shock as well as a Ducati electronic fuel injection system.

Yamaha Motors India is developing a 250cc bike based on the Yamaha FZ series. They are all set to launch the bike which will boast the potential to give a hard time to the existing bikes in the segment.

First introduced to the Malaysian market in September 2013, Kawasaki took the innovative move of launching the Z250 Street Fighter in the market that sees a demand for the “Naked” models. The Z250 is a superb bike for beginners and ladies who are picking up motorcycle riding not only for leisure but for daily and work purposes as well. It is light and mild powered as compared to the Ninja 250. The build and design is easily mistaken for the Z800 which is a plus point for people starting off biking without having to feel “inferior” riding next to the bigger boys.

ER-6n draws its frame from Ninja 650 and is a street-naked bike which is powered by 649 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel twin engine which produces 72.1 PS of max power at 8000rpm and max torque of 64 Nm @ 7,000 rpm and is mated with a six-speed gearbox. The bike is designed for city riding conditions unlike the Ninja 650 which is more of a sports-tourer.

Austrian Motorcycle manufacturer KTM is going to launch one of its most famous bikes from its lineup, the KTM 990 Super Duke R in India. The liter class naked bike should be launched in India by the first quarter of 2013 and should be one of the top products in KTM’s lineup.

Italian Motorcycle Company Aprilia is all set to enter into the Indian market with their complete product range. Mana 850 is their CVT bike which will also be amongst the bikes to be launched. Mana 850 is CVT bike which according to Aprilia is a new concept in biking. Expect it to be launched by the end of the first quarter of 2012.

Piaggio is ready to launch its subsidiary Italian Motorcycle Company Moto Guzzi in the Indian market and one of the first Moto Guzzi coming to India would be the Griso. Griso is Moto Guzzi’s bold naked that rides as good as it looks. Expect it to be here by the end of 2012.
