Value for money – sticker price, standard features:
Skoda has been in India for a long time and has been building good cars over the years. The issues have been mostly related to after sales and service problems than anything related to the product itself. However Skoda has been trying to overcome some of the issues with that and it seems that it is working for it. Skoda Yeti offers good fuel efficiency and performance not to forget the premium and luxurious feel of it. It has been well priced starting with the base model Skoda Yeti Active 4×2 starting from 13.46 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi, Skoda Yeti Ambition 2WD top end model is priced at 15.20 lakhs. The AWD versions start with Skoda Yeti Ambiente priced at 14.32 lakhs and the top end model 4×4 Skoda Yeti Elegance is priced at 16.89 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi price.
Tata Aria is a feature packed MPV and a fantastic car and Tata have set the price (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base model Tata Aria Pura 4×2 at 11.62 lakhs, Tata Aria Pleasure 4×2 is at the middle ground priced at 12.61 lakhs and the top variant of Tata Aria Prestige 4×2 is priced at 14.26 lakh rupees. This pricing will help the car as it offers features that are mostly available only in SUV from the premium SUV segment and rarely they make it to MPVs. Tata has tried to price it well however given the options in the market we certainly think that a feature packed SUV like the Aria is well priced and would do well in the market in the long run.
