Volkswagen is a German automobile company based in Wolfsburg. It is the world's fourth largest car producer after Toyota, General Motors and Ford. The word Volkswagen means “People's Car” in the German language. The various brands of the company include Caddy, Fox, Passat, Polo, Phaeton, Tiguan, Sagitar, Sharan and Gol. In India the company offers Volkswagen Passat with its economical yet powerful diesel engine, a 6-speed DSG gearbox and other features.
