VW Vento test drive review
Until just over a year ago, Honda had been ruling the market in all the segments it was present in India. All its models- City, Civic, Accord and CR-V used to top the sales charts year after year. But with the launch of new models like the Corolla Altis, Superb and the Fortuner, the long dominance of Honda in the luxury space seemed to come to an end. The only model that seemed unaffected by the proceedings was the City, the bread and butter of Honda in India. City had been ruling the Midsize car segment in India for quite a long time. Launched way back in 1998, the car started the journey of Honda in India and has been the mainstay of Honda in India since then. Almost all car makers in India have tried dethroning Honda from that position, but had met with little success till now. Only SX4 had managed to challenge the reign of the City for a brief period after its launch, but Honda soon bounced back with a much improved City and later with a major facelift to ride over the SX4. New models sprung up quite regularly, but none could make an impact even up to what SX4 could achieve. http://automate4u.com/2010/12/15/vento-the-indian-vw/ read more

Horrible experience with Apple Auto Pvt Ltd (Whitefield), Bangalore
I booked a Highline Petrol Vento with Apple Auto Pvt Ltd (Whitefield), Bangalore on Jan 9 with the commitment that they will give me last quarter( Nov-Dec) 2011 make car. All the paper work done and when it is going for registration in end of January , I ask for car manufacturing month, first they are not telling me exact dates and then finally after spending a lot of time with them, I came to know its a March-April 2011 car . The Apple Auto has no transparency and senior executives put matters on junior and no one is answerable for anything. They wasted almost 3 weeks for us and now the sales guy is too casual about it. Volkswagen being a good brand but the experience gets worst with such dealers like Apple Auto Pvt Ltd. If you are planning to buy a Volkswagen car in Bangalore, please try to avoid this new dealer with almost no customer experience, transparency, and zero trust Your dealer Apple Auto Pvt Ltd (Whitefield), Bangalore is selling old cars to customers with no clear communication. Customers like me feel cheated with such practices. Volkswagon is one of good brands but customers experience gets totally get spoiled with such dealers. Strict action should be taken against them read more
