Polo not worth to possess
Infact I had lot of hopes on having a vw polo when I came to know about its production in chakan plant. I used to follow very carefully about the developments & launching of polo in india. I also booked the vehicle in jan 2010. I first saw the vehicle in first week of March at our dealer place & was really impressed with the vehicle. After a few days our dealer invited me for a test drive polo 1.2 highline. On driving the vehicle I was utterly dissapointed about the performance of the engine, engine noise level is pretty high then sitting in a ordinary tata indica diesel vehicle. I feel that the germans think that we are still outdated & continue to use primitive engine like 3 cyclinders which are still used in maruthi 800. The passion to have vw is a hypocratic idea which the german auto maker is making use of it. When there are lot of other companies providing excellent features in terms of performance, safety, effecient, economical & latest tecnologies that are introduced in the world market simultaneaously, I felt that paying such a huge amount for that car is not worth to buy. i am from punjab.today i went vw showroom i drive the polo tdi car it is so smooth to drive the handling is very very good.i decide to buy it.i was also takeing look on i20 but the car is more noisy than polo....... read more

Volkswagen is the Worst Car Company in India in Terms of Sales and After Sales Service
One thing which I would like all people to know about Volkswagen Company is that Volkswagen is the worst car company in whole of India in terms of sales and after sales service as I had booked a polo and my whole experience with Volkswagen is like a nightmare.To my surprise Volkswagen dealer never responds back to any customer complaint and even the parent company I send so many mails but no reply.I had booked a Polo in 1st week of March in Moti Nagar showroom and I was told delivery date within 2 months but more then 3 months have passed and they are not even able to tell me the exact staus.The most surprising part is that if you people will open Volkswagen India website you cannot even find their email id where u can write to them and u have to find out from here and there the email id.To know my experience all are free to call me at my number in New Delhi at 9899127872 read more

polo really plays out swift, i 10 and i 20 and all small cars till now
best car you can have in india, actually maruti's bad day has started in 5 lakh why buy a japanese car when one can buy german hah, i drive it as test drive, actually my friend is a auto analyst and we test drive it for 4 hours, i decided to book silver colour one trendline model petrol, i find the engine is a bit noisy , but that's actually a sign of powerful engine, even you can run a/c in first gear with no glitches like wagon r(presently having)and seats are more comfortable than swift, even i 20 so i truly appreciate the looks of this german car , after all germann are pioneers in car manufacturing and technology read more

Bad Car
I bought Vw Polo last month as i was very excited. My excitement ended in the very second week, the car has very hard gear shift, bumpy rear seat, the leg room is very bad, the basic horns that come with the car are crap i had to get them retuned on the third day, they refused to replace them, i had to buy new ones my self. The steering wheel is quite tight and does't seem like one is driving a power steering. The worst part is the mileage. I have so far driver 9000+ and my Polo gives mere local average of 11km on diesel and on highway it goes up to 14 only. I spoke to the dealer in Karnal and they refuse to anything else than the free service. It was my worst decision to buy a Polo, now i want to sell it and buy either an i20 or the Maruti ritz. My VW charm has ended quite badly. read more

VW polo test drive review
VW, in India, has remained an automaker for the elite class till 2010. But surely, they had different plans for the Indian market. Models like Jetta and Passat could not help them establish the brand among the middle class Indians, for whom the Swifts and i10s were obvious choices. They had to come up with a small car that offers extremely good value for money, not compromising a bit on the VW quality standards. VW Polo EXPERIENCE
Yesterday I drove Polo Highline. It was joy ride. Driving in a highway it gives me immense satisfaction. Gear change is little hesitation. Otherwsie all izz well. read more

NOT A WROTHY CAR ,LIMITED DEALERS IN INDIA OR PUNJAB
polo is pol o, not a gud car .due to looks interiors ,less space,not a styling car,just make a "dabba"punto is far better than that.small tyre,less mileage,small engine ...so many less point it has...not a worth car,and no so many dealers in india or punjab.... read more
