Toyota Rush
It’s no secret that the compact SUV segment is the current hot bed for garnering sales in India. After the huge success of the Renault Duster, everyone wants to join the party. Mahindra will be launching the Quanto in a few day and Ford is coming with the EcoSport which is much awaited, but that’s not all as Chevrolet, Maruti and now Toyota too wants a slice of the action. What you see here is the Toyota Rush compact SUV which promises Toyota reliability with funky looks and a practical cabin. Currently there is a gap between the Etio and Corolla Altis which the Rush can fill up. From the front the Rush looks like the RAV4- a popular SUV from Toyota.
I’ts cheerful and looks a lot like the EcoSport as it wears a big face. Expect top build quality too. Make no mistake the Rush looks like a typical SUV and will have presence. Interiors are Toyota like so they are well made and practical too! What features, 5-7 seater versions are too early to tell. From engines you can have the diesel from the Etios and also its peppy petrol motor. Expect it to come end of next year.

Do you have any update on the diesel automatic RUSH. When I called up Toyota at TVM last month to find out if INNOVA has automatic version, they said 'no' and didn't say anything about this RUSH.Could you kindly email me if you have any update. alex@dt.bh

Any idea whether Toyota Rush has Diesel Automatic If so, it will be wonderful. You can fully trust Toyota because I have been using Toyota car for the last 15 years. It's still in immaculate condition. alex@dt.bh
