Editorial Test Drive Review of the New Toyota Corolla Altis
The Toyota Corolla is one of the most successful and largest selling car models anywhere in the world. For Toyota, this car has been a success story in almost every single country where it is sold today. The same went thing went onto happen in the Indian market as well. The old Corolla re-wrote quite a few rules and was accepted by both private as well as commercial buyers. The heavily revamped Altis brand name took on from there to further increase its appeal and standing in the D segment of cars. The Altis got a minor revamp in 2011 with changes done to the design, cabin and ofcourse the petrol engine. The update model is classier, more comfortable and more luxurious as well. Available in both petrol and diesel models with the former also with an automatic gearbox option, the Altis continues to be the segment leader in monthly sales units. The reasons follow below!

The New Corolla Altis (OWSUM RIDE MAHN)
The New Altis Has an Engine which delivers torque of 170 Nm at 4200 RPM and an output of 132 bhp and it is a 1794 cc engine(some sites say it as 137-140 bhp. That's wrong). It has the VVT-i Technology. It is a V16 Petrol Engine with a mileage of about 13-14 in MT and 12-13 in AT.So moving from the engine to the exterior body.Most of the body is made of High tensile strength steel.Has Power Lights which adjust to the sunlight or nethng themselves.The inside of the car is very beautifully crafted.You have all,well almost,all the controls in your hand i.e. the display,volume,power washers and the CD changer.The car has a boot space of about 475 cubic centimeters.So that's hell lotta space.No backseat problems.It has a double dashboard.lotsa space in there also.The Display meter shows 7 diff. thngs like the mileage,kms done,climate,temp. The car has the cruise control and the climate control option.The Driver's seat can be electronically adjusted in 8 different positions and the steering can be adjust in 4 diff. ways. There is a light provided over the sunshade and a double sunglass storage box.So these are the main features of the new of the Corolla Altis. read more

BEST CAR FOR THIS PRICE RANGE
the new corolla altis GL has got all the basic features for the customers in this price range....(especially the 8 way electronic driver's seat)..which is not ther in audi a4 and merecedes c class... altis is spacious , very comfortable and has got gud performance too... dont judge this car with ur eyes .....u shud FEEL IT..!...i bet u cant ignore this beautiful car..!!! this car worth alot for money..!! Pathetic Service
Great Brand Name to have for a car . And an awfully pathetic customer service too. I Left the car for just a bumper damage and it took 30 days for them . It took 5 days after they collected money to give me back the car. They dont have time or courtesy to sort out customer issues. Customer Service full of apathy towards customers. Only thing that they did right was to sell the car. If you buy a car from too big a brand you will face high headed officials from the dealer/brand. Customer Service Dept is not interested and the concerned person does not take your call. read more
