What we like
Decent power in city
What we don't like
lacks punch in highway

Diesel Mileage 25 kmpl

It delivers 25 kmpl (ARAI certified) which is frugal

Diesel Variants
Tata Indigo eCS Diesel LS TDI 25 kmpl
Tata Indigo eCS Diesel LS CR4 25 kmpl
Tata Indigo eCS Diesel LX CR4 25 kmpl
Tata Indigo eCS Diesel LX TDI 25 kmpl
Tata Indigo eCS Diesel VX CR4 25 kmpl

There is some roll and it does not feel nippy. Steering is decent but it is nowhere as much fun as the Maruti Dzire or as agile as the Honda Amaze

What we like
Easy to drive
What we don't like
Not as fun as rival

It has got new Duo Float Suspension which enhances load distribution and a new NVH package. The new cable linkage gearbox also works well and is light. This means that the ride is now improved a lot which is good news. Refinement is lacking though.

What we like
Rides well
What we don't like
Lacks refinement

Cons Delete this space

Iam having Tata Indigo CS LS TDI, i bought it just 2 months ago. telling frankly i was in favour of buying Swift Desire, but once i thaught of taking round in all the showrooms of Maruti, Tata, Hundai Ford Etc.. My budjet was 4 to 4.5 Lacs. my final choice was between a) Maruti Swift Desire & b) Tata indigo CS I started comparing both & find following advantages of Indogo CS over Swift Desire. 1) LOW PRICE (more than 1.5 lac lower in Diseal version) 2) SHORTER DELIVERY PERIOD. 3) GOOD LOOKS (compare to frogy look of swift) 4) BETTER MILEAGE 5) BETTER REAR SEATING SPACE 6) BETTER BOOT SPACE So finally decided to buy Tata Indigo CS. A COMPLETE MIDDILE CLASS PREMIUM CAR. Its the chepest seden car in india. If your budjet is low and u want to buy seden than close your eyes and buy it. it gives value for your money.

TATA Indigo DICIOR CS LS
Posted on 17 Nov 08 at 2:17 am

Pros Cost effective, fuel efficient (if diesel)

Cons Shabby built, teething issues with electricals

We bought the TATA Indigo CS DICOR LS on 21 October. There are other variants in the CS class itslef, but we found the DICOR better as it was smoother and more effecient than the ordinary TDI version. The car's first long drive on the delivery day was to BIAL. My father was leaving abroad, so we had to drop him to the airport in the same car, I couldnt believe the performance of the car. It easily touched 120kmph and I was in the front seat sitting beside the driver, I just couldnt realise. It is smooth as well. The car did extremely well and I am glad that TATA Motors have developed such a great car with such good Engine. Its a perfect value for money. Nobody in India gives you such value for money car. It has some teething issues like the fit and finish, you can notice it with bare eyes, especially the interiors, but if you are ready to spend something extra for the interiors then you dont have to bother about it. The one thing that seems to be strong enough is the engine, no doubt about that. The dealer was Prerana Motors on Hosur Road in Bangalore. I rated their service as very satisfactory, but not excellent. If you want your first car to be a sedan, then this is the car I would recommend you to buy. I wont compare this car with others, because other cars' are not worth comapring, they might be very good with interiors, but they are expensive at the same time. The specification of the car is also good. Since our model is LS and now even the LX model has been launched, you can go for it, its fully loaded. This car also seats 5 luxuriously but the 6th passenger can be squeezed in but I am sure that he too will be comfortable. If anyone tells you that this brand is better than this or that, dont bother, take a test drive then make note. Also, if you are a budget buyer, this is the right car. Wish you good luck.

Worth a buy
Posted on 15 Nov 08 at 10:50 pm

Pros Style, Space, Mileage

Cons Compromise on finishing

INDIGO CS is the best car in the price and for people who don't want to be common(having small car). Its giving me a mileage of 13.5 - 14 Kmpl on Delhi roads with 60% time driven with Ac on. Pickup is better than santros, altos and other cars in similar price segment. Bought it from Hisar(Haryans)(to save on taxes) was not given the foot mats (poorest service) A bit disappointed to see the finishing of chasis(check the boot) Maybe that's why the crowd is on Suzuki's favours, must be fed up seein swifts, altos crowded on road. Overall worth a buy if you guys believe me.
