Tata Indica is a successful diesel hatchback by the Indian auto maker Tata Motors. It is popular with taxi operators also.

Tata Indica V2 DLS BSIII has various features standard in its segment of cars. The car is available in various colors like arctic silver, mint white, carbon black, salsa red, arizona ochre, cavern grey and amazon blue.
Currently there are two versions of Tata Indica available for sale in the Indian market. These are Tata Indica V2 DLE BSIII and Tata Indica V2 DLS BSIII. Tata Indica V2 DLE BSIII is sold at around 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) while Tata Indica V2 DLS BSIII is sold at around Rs. Rs. 3.7 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Tata Motors keeps launching new variants of Indica to keep the interest of the buyers intact in the car. The company launched Indica Vista in August 2008. The car is 3.8 m long and 1.7 m wide. It also has more interior space than Indica. According to some reports, Tata Motors is considering to launch electric version of Indica in 2011.
