Tata 2014 Indica Vista
Tata has been riding the Indica bandwagon for quite sometime. It has undergone several changes over the years, appealing to many buyers while dissatisfying a few. Tata Motors has been working on a new iteration of the Indica Vista for sometime and it is due to be showcased during the 2014 Auto Expo. It will be an evolutionary version of the current model with some new details and features expected to be thrown in.
However the highlight of the new changes is the exterior design which has been revamped to match the changing needs and requirements of the demanding buyers. While the overall profile will be retained, the front fascia and rear design has been updated. It will feature an elegant design with a mass appeal. The rounded design and new grille offers a fresh look to the overall aging design of the Indica Vista.
Tata is expected to carry out improvements and ensure the cars are relatively issues free. Many owners have reported several niggles from the car during their first year of ownership and these issues have turned away quite a few customers from their cars.
The upcoming Indica Vista will retain the the current 1.2 liter and 1.4 petrol engine options while the diesel engine options will continue to remain at 1.3 liter diesel and 1.4 liter capacity. The 1.3 liter diesel engine makes 75 Bhp of power and 175 Nm of torque while the larger diesel engine makes 90 Bhp and 200 Nm of torque. For some enthusiasts Tata Indica Vista has been an underrated car in the market and is said to offer excellent potential.
We expect the new Vista to be priced with pricing quite similar to current pricing for the Indica Vista hatchback and we should see this hit the roads sometime in the middle of 2014.
