The third biggest Japanese auto maker, Nissan earlier used to market vehicles under the name of Datsun. It entered an alliance with Renault of France in 1999. Headquartered in Tokyo it is planning to move to Yokohama. The company entered the Indian market with X-Trail SUV. Later Nissan launched a luxury sedan Teana in the Indian market.
