Mitsubishi is Japanese auto maker founded in April, 1970. Headquartered in Tokyo, the company produces automobiles in a JV with Hindustan Motors in India. The company tasted early success with its launch of Lancer, that competed successfully against Honda City. Later Mitsubishi introduced other brands like Pajero, Cedia and Montero in the market. However, the company could not replicate the success of Lancer. The company can reduce its service costs to compete better against its rivals in the Indian market.
