Interiors Details

Boot space

The boot space of Mahindra Bolero is of an impressive 1063 liters which can more space to keep your luggages for your long vacation.


The Bolero is equipped with a conventional analogue speedometer which provides information about the speed, fuel, oil, warning and so on.

Gear lever

The gear lever is leather covered in Bolero

Cup holders

Cup holders are absent from both front and rear of the Bolero.


Standard glovebox has been made available by the company in all models

Audio system

No integrated MP3 system or CD player in any of the models

Air Conditioner

Only the top-end model comes with an Air Conditioner. Climate control system is absent from any of the models of Bolero.

Arm rests

There are no armrests in the front but offered in the rear seats to give comfort the passengers.

Air vents

There are total of 4 air vents, all in the front two being in the middle and the other two on the extreme ends.


The Mahindra Bolero can seat 5 people comfortably and the last 2 people also can but the leather seats are absent.

Leg room

There is ample of leg room for driver of about 1050 mm in front for comfortable seating.

Knee room

Knee room in the front is 720 mm and for the passengers in the rear its a comfortable 700mm.

Shoulder space

Being an SUV the shoulder space in the rear is good and about 1040 mm.

Mahindra Bolero is a fantastic MUV which offers a good balance of performance and handling and is a very capable car that glides over bad roads and offers very good comfort. It has a slightly firm ride but the overall ride quality is quite plush and cushions all the bad bumps on the road. Mahindra has the tuned the suspension and this has greatly reduced body roll on the car. The NVH levels are minimum and at high speeds the passenger comfort is well maintained.

Pros Mileage, Space, suspension...

Cons Horrible engine noise, interiors..

This vehicle has a powerful AC.. It also gives a respectable mileage of abt 13 kmpl... Comfort wise its not so good.. Also the engine makes a huge noise that reminds a truck.. Interiors r also poor.....

Have used bolero lx,zlx and presently using scorpio and the zlx.want to know when mahindra motors will attend to the
ball joint issue in the bolero models.the joint suddenly comes off and keeps you stranded,which is really bad.
