Head-quartered in Tokyo, Honda was founded by Soichiro Honda in 1948. A leading auto company, Honda is also the largest engine manufacturer in the world. Honda came to India with its offering Honda City that was a success. The company's other offerings like Honda City ZX, Civic, Accord and the CRV met with similar success. Honda is working on a small car, which is likely to hit the Indian roads by 2009.
