Honda Brio Diesel

Editorial Review

If there is one company that is feeling the petrol price hike the most, it is undoubtedly Honda. Despite their products being very good, the lack of a diesel has been hurting a lot. Honda has maintained a " no diesel anytime now" policy but that obviously has changed since the latest and steepest petrol price hike. For all of you, there is good news, it is coming and sooner than you think. The Brio diesel will come later this year during diwali or towards the end of this year.

The engine will be an all new 1.4-liter iDTEC diesel engine. This very engine will also power the Jazz, Brio and City. This move will make the Brio numero uno in its segment as it is a good blend of space, looks and features. The diesel will make about 80-90 bhp and also decent amount of torque. As far as pricing is concerned expect an increase of Rs 50,000 or more but trust Honda to make a reasonably competitive price. So, finally Honda is going the diesel way. Folks this diwali promises a lot of fireworks!

3.99 Lacs as same as for Toyota Etios Liva which does not have a power steering & this way it will be an attraction
