Chevrolet Trax
The Ford EcoSport has been causing a furore in the Indian automotive space and everyone is eagerly waiting for it. But the concept of a mini SUV seems practical and not just Ford but many others are joining. What you see here is the Chevrolet Trax. The Trax made its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September. It looks like a mini Captiva and that is something people will certainly like. The Trax measures 4,248 mm in length, and featuring a width of 1,776 mm and a wheelbase of 2,555 mm.
The interior looks funky and futuristic without being overdone. The centre-console is Beat inspired while the steering is of the Crzue sedan. The Trax which is a five seater has a 60/40 split rear seat, it also has a front passenger seat which can be folded flat. When it comes to practicality it has a 358L trunk, they include various bins above and on both sides of the center stack, as well as an available under pass seat tray. Another cool features is the Chevrolet ‘MyLink’ which is an infotainment system that takes content from smartphones onto a seven-inch, high resolution, full color touch-screen display.
On the engines front, the one to watch out will be the 1.7L turbo-diesel engine. The 1.7L diesel engine will deliver a power output of 130 bhp and a maximum torque of 300 Nm. There certainly be a 1.6 petrol too. Although its too early to say what will come to India. Needless to say that we are very excited about this product as it is another promising entry to the compact SUV segment and after looking at the pictures you would agree too!

if it come early in 2013 it is worth ,other wise eco sport and duster are good ,other wise trax will not stand against

bring it in under 4 mtr.1.2petrol to keep price as low as 5.00+lac. Remember fuel cost sky rocketing ansell is declinig.
